Job description
Matchtech are looking to make a hire for a Digital Operations Manager for our public sector client.
Our client is transforming and improving its Digital services to help improve and enhance the community services that it delivers each day.
The role is newly created and will sit within the digital transformation team. The successful post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the digital products delivered are aligned with customer and business requirements.
On a daily basis you will be managing the operation of digital solutions and services, thus supporting the delivery of these services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing support for new solutions and services and getting business ready for go-live.
- 3rd party support and liaison with Digital Services providers.
- Supporting the development of a digital product roadmap
Core Skills for this role:
- A strong understanding of Local Government Enterprise Solutions
- A strong proficiency in applying software which enables the user to create, populate and manipulate digital services and data.
- An understanding of Council Digital platforms
- Knowledge and understanding of existing and emerging Digital & Cloud technologies.
- Appreciation of Software coding, aspects of AI, automations, data Modelling, visualisation, and NoSQL databases *
- It will be advantageous to understand the risks and trends affecting Digital services within the local government arena.
- Expert knowledge of Digital service delivery.
Our client offers a hybrid working charter with a 2-day minimum of office working near to Waterloo station.
