Job description
Person Specification:
· BEng /BSc (Hon) or equivalent discipline with minimum 5 years post graduate experience
· Member of/working towards associated Professional body membership
· Work on masterplan projects - proposing innovative and sustainable engineering solutions
· Modelling of gravity and pressure networks
· Detailed design of engineering solutions
· Good report writing skills
Key Responsibilities:
. Provide design solutions to civil engineering projects.
· Design gravity and pressure networks for masterplans & civil engineering projects
· Be client facing and have strong presentation skills
· Have an eye for detail and prepare visually impressive reports and presentations
· Design right of way cross sections for all utilities
· Produce reports, drawings, calculations and presentations
· Advise and present engineering solutions to clients and stakeholders
· Submit designs to local authorities and follow up to obtain approvals
· Use AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, EPANET, WaterCAD, Infoworks-ICM, Civil3D HecRAS and Microsoft office to produce my deliverables
· Have experience in hydrology studies, design and modelling.
· Interface with the wider infrastructure and MEP teams, architects, masterplanners, stakeholder
· Be self starting and take ownership of my work
· Produce engineering solutions which consider cost, constructability and sustainability.
· Be successful in obtaining authority approvals for my design documentation.
· Produce well written reports to support my designs.
· Deliver design packages and reports on time and to budget.
