Job description

Opportunity Overview: Contributing technical construction expertise and guidance throughout project gated processes, constructability programs, and risk management activities, ensuring integration into construction scopes and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensuring designs adhere to Regulatory, Customer, and Company standards.
  2. Managing delivery, supervision, and verification of EC&I engineering design deliverables within budget, schedule, and quality parameters.
  3. Supervising team progress and reporting.
  4. Coordinating interfaces with other engineering disciplines.
  5. Conducting necessary engineering reviews.
  6. Identifying resource requirements and aiding in recruitment.
  7. Effectively managing design changes and configurations.
  8. Overall management and coordination of EC&I team.
  9. Identifying scope changes and implementing appropriate change requests.

Requirements:

  1. Preferably, prior experience in Sellafield plants or brownfield sites, but similar experience will be considered.
  2. Ideally, candidates should have experience in a similar role and may be Incorporated/Chartered Engineers or working towards professional status.
  3. Producing and maintaining essential documents, reports, schedules, etc., within program timelines and quality standards.
  4. Coordinating with other design disciplines and plant engineering for preliminary and detailed design deliverables.
  5. Supporting CE&I design team in meetings and reviews.
  6. Designing in compliance with IET 18th edition (BS7671) is preferable.
  7. Proficiency in relevant CAE tools such as AutoCAD, CAESAR, PDMS.
