Job description
Opportunity Overview: Contributing technical construction expertise and guidance throughout project gated processes, constructability programs, and risk management activities, ensuring integration into construction scopes and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring designs adhere to Regulatory, Customer, and Company standards.
- Managing delivery, supervision, and verification of EC&I engineering design deliverables within budget, schedule, and quality parameters.
- Supervising team progress and reporting.
- Coordinating interfaces with other engineering disciplines.
- Conducting necessary engineering reviews.
- Identifying resource requirements and aiding in recruitment.
- Effectively managing design changes and configurations.
- Overall management and coordination of EC&I team.
- Identifying scope changes and implementing appropriate change requests.
Requirements:
- Preferably, prior experience in Sellafield plants or brownfield sites, but similar experience will be considered.
- Ideally, candidates should have experience in a similar role and may be Incorporated/Chartered Engineers or working towards professional status.
- Producing and maintaining essential documents, reports, schedules, etc., within program timelines and quality standards.
- Coordinating with other design disciplines and plant engineering for preliminary and detailed design deliverables.
- Supporting CE&I design team in meetings and reviews.
- Designing in compliance with IET 18th edition (BS7671) is preferable.
- Proficiency in relevant CAE tools such as AutoCAD, CAESAR, PDMS.
