Key Responsibilities

• Working collaboratively with the engineering team to deliver high-quality projects within the Highways sector.
• Undertaking engineering calculations, analysis, and technical assessments to support the design and construction process.
• Using Microdrainage software to design effective and efficient drainage systems.
• Applying your expertise in Section 278 agreements to ensure compliance with transportation regulations and guidelines.
• Contributing to the preparation of reports, drawings, and specifications for varied civil engineering projects.
• Assisting in the supervision and inspection of construction sites, ensuring compliance with design standards and health and safety regulations.
• Maintaining effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to ensure project success.
• Continuously improving your technical knowledge and skills to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.

Job Requirements

• Significant experience in civil engineering, with a focus on highways and drainage projects.
• Proficiency in the use of Microdrainage software for designing effective drainage systems.
• A solid understanding of Section 278 agreements and their application within the transportation sector.
• Experience with Civil 3D and its application to produce accurate designs and drawings.
• Good knowledge of applicable engineering standards, regulations, and guidelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and stakeholders.
• An eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
