Job description

Our client, a leading company in the Highways & Civils sector, is currently seeking a QA Engineer to join their team in Guildford. As a QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of work on schemes, ensuring they are done to specifications and in line with designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality assurance checks on ongoing projects to ensure compliance with specifications and design requirements
• Identify and communicate any deviations or non-conformities, and work with the team to implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with project teams to establish and implement quality assurance procedures and processes
• Conduct thorough inspections and audits of construction sites and documentation
• Assist in the development and maintenance of quality control documentation and reports

Job Requirements:

• Degree or HNC in Engineering
• Significant experience in quality assurance within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and design requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality issues
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with project teams
