Job description

Our client is currently seeking LU Installation and Maintenance Electricians to join their team as an Installation and Maintenance Electrician. You will be responsible for carrying out low voltage commercial and industrial electrical installation, repair, inspection, testing, certification, and condition reporting activities within the London Underground Network.

We are also interested in hearing from those with testing and commissioning backgrounds, as well as those with safe isolation level 3.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical installation and maintenance tasks in accordance with safety procedures and industry standards.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and certification of electrical systems to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults and perform necessary repairs.
• Carry out condition reporting activities to assess the performance and reliability of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.

Job Requirements:

• Hold relevant qualifications such as ECS/JIB and LU/ICI
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience in low voltage commercial and industrial electrical installations.
• Have a strong understanding of electrical testing and certification procedures.
• Possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical faults.
• Be familiar with the London Underground Network and its safety requirements.
