Key responsibilities

As the Senior Automation Tester, your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing comprehensive test plans for the Treasury Management System.
• Engaging in both manual and automated testing to ensure all features perform to the highest standard.
• Providing mentorship to junior testing staff and contributing to team training and development initiatives.
• Identifying potential issues and leading troubleshooting efforts to resolve them.
• Keeping updated with industry standards and best practices, and introducing them into our testing processes.
• Reporting on the status, quality, and potential risks associated with the system in development.

Essential experience & skills

Experience:

• Proven hands-on experience in testing financial applications, particularly Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and/or payments platforms.
• Experience in various testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and API.
• Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• An understanding of security testing techniques to ensure data protection and confidentiality.
• Understanding of treasury management processes such as cash management, forecasting, transaction management, financial instruments, reconciliation process, payments, and general treasury operations.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in testing tools such as WebDriver IO, Cucumber, Postman, DevOps, and JIRA.
• Knowledge of databases, SQL, and data validation techniques.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Educational background and certification:

• At least a bachelor's degree in finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Certifications like ISTQB, CSTE, or other relevant quality assurance qualifications can be advantageous.
• Knowledge in financial and treasury management is required.
• Excellent English language skills are required.
