Job description

Our client, a leading organisation in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a TRO Officer to join their team. This is a contract position with opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and process traffic orders and related statutory notices in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
• Advise and interpret the legal framework and regulations regarding traffic management orders and traffic calming.
• Assist in the drafting and processing of traffic management orders and statutory notices.
• Work collaboratively with the team to deliver effective outcomes within tight deadlines.

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in drafting and processing traffic orders and related statutory notices.
• Strong understanding of traffic management, road safety, parking design, cycling interventions, sustainable transport, school travel planning, and road safety education.
• Knowledge and interpretation of the legal framework and regulations relating to traffic management orders and traffic calming.
• Ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment, both independently and as part of a team.
