Our client, a leading company in the water infrastructure sector, is currently seeking a Site Engineer to join their team. This is a contract role based across Kenr, offering 18 months + worth of work, starting as soon as possible.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out site surveys and inspections.
• Provide line and levels / set out for construction activities.
• Produce documentation for site tasks.
• Complete inspection and test plans
• Carry out as laid surveys.
• Liaise with stakeholders.

Project Details:

• The project duration is ongoing for at least 18 months on a freelance basis.
• Immediate start

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience as setting out engineer / site engineer
• Strong understanding of infrastructure projects
• Ability to run gangs on site and ensure deadlines are met.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Site competency cards

Experience:

Experience of working in a utilities environment, preferable sewer or water. With knowledge of deep excavation and trenchless pipe installation methods along with experience of working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team. An understanding of and application of digital technology together with commercial awareness is important, as are excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.

Contract Details:

This is a contract position offering competitive rates of £300 - £320 per shift CIS.
