Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Architect

London (Hybrid working 2-3 days onsite)
Our client, a leading company in the Energy sector, is seeking a Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Architect to join their technology team. As a Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the company's cloud strategy, with a focus on Azure and Cloud Infrastructure. This is a permanent position based in London and offering Hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and communicate current and target state architectures across the enterprise and wider architecture teams
• Translate roadmaps into packages of work for incremental delivery of value
• Perform architecture assessments of existing infrastructure to identify gaps and provide recommendations
• Ensure solutions comply with the Platform Roadmap across Microsoft Azure and other SaaS Cloud offerings
• Collaborate with partners, program/project managers, and product owners to define technical solution designs
• Track, analyse, and monitor technology performance metrics
• Lead and coordinate complex architectural transformations with multiple vendors
• Coach and mentor junior team members across technical, strategy, and delivery areas

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in IT Cloud and IT Architecture
• Strong knowledge of Azure and cloud infrastructure
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Excellent collaboration and partner management skills
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts to senior leadership
• Experience developing and communicating architectures and designs
• Knowledge of industry architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate)
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience
