Job description

The role can be OUTSIDE IR35

Cambridgeshire based with hybrid working (3 days pw on site)

THE ROLE

Our internal software systems are crucial to the efficient operation of our business and range from third-party solutions to in-house tools. In this role, you will be responsible for designing solutions, maintaining existing applications, and developing new functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions from scratch, with a focus on C# for our internal tools.
• MS Power Automate and MS Power Apps, workflow creation
• Javascript, JQuery
• Migrate legacy applications to .NET, ensuring seamless integration and improved performance.
• Maintain and configure third-party tools built on MS SQL Server, including backup management and basic administration tasks.
• Develop extensions for third-party tools, leveraging your expertise in MS SQL Management Studio and REST interfaces.
• Use your skillset in developing applications and extensions within the Office 365 ecosystem.

Requirements

• Proficiency in .NET is essential, along with experience in C development.
• Front end / User interface experience
• Skilled in MS SQL Management Studio, including database backups, basic administration, and the ability to write stored procedures.
• Familiarity with REST interfaces and their implementation.
• Comfortable developing extensions and applications within the Office 365 ecosystem.
• Knowledge of web development in .NET is advantageous but not essential.
