Senior Planner

Our client, a leading construction company is seeking a skilled Senior Planner to join their team. As a Senior Planner, you will play a vital role in managing and coordinating projects, ensuring effective scheduling and resource allocation to achieve project goals. This is a permanent position where you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in Primavera and contribute to the success of exciting construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, develop, and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera software
• Analyse project requirements, milestones, and deliverables
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop and refine project plans
• Identify and resolve potential scheduling conflicts or risks
• Monitor and track project progress, ensuring adherence to deadlines
• Provide regular reports on project status to ensure effective communication
• Assist in the preparation of tender and bid documentation
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and procedures

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience as a Planner within the construction industry
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar project planning software
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project management principles
• Ability to analyse complex information and work with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related field
