Job description
The role involves critical work that impacts global security, requiring flexibility in shift patterns, which includes day, back, night, and weekend shifts. This position offers an opportunity to work in an innovative and competitive environment where you can have flexibility on how you work and what you work on.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing all types of cables (multi-core, single core, and co-axial) and electrical systems (junction boxes, fuse panels, consoles, transformers, switches, etc.)
- Cable terminations and installation of all electrical equipment
- Utilising a range of hand tools
Job Requirements:
- Modern Apprenticeship certificate, also known as Trade Papers (you will be required to provide papers)
- Understanding of electrical installation drawings
- Clear understanding of SHE Risks Awareness
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and/or at heights
- Safety certification (e.g., SHE Induction, COSHH awareness, working at height, etc.)
- Background in a major construction or manufacturing environment
