Our client, a prominent player in the HTP sector, is currently seeking multiple Quantity Surveyors, ranging from senior to intermediate levels, to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. This role provides an exciting opportunity for professionals experienced in quantity surveying to contribute to leading commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects
- Performing cost analysis and preparing budget forecasts
- Evaluating and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Managing project finances, including cost control and cash flow management
- Overseeing the preparation of tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other necessary documentation
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
- Providing guidance and support to junior quantity surveyors on the team
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and other relevant legislation
Job Requirements:
- Experience in quantity surveying, with a preference for senior-level candidates having significant experience in the field
- Highways/Infrastructure experience
- NEC Contract experience
- Proficiency in commercial management and contract administration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Thorough understanding of construction processes and industry standards
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying tasks
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in quantity surveying or a related field
