Our client is currently seeking a Registered Building Inspector to join their team within the Berkshire region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting inspections of residential and commercial properties to ensure compliance with building regulations
- Evaluating building plans, specifications, and materials to assess adherence to regulatory standards
- Providing expert guidance and advice to clients and contractors on building control matters
- Issuing certificates of conformity and other necessary documentation upon successful evaluation
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of inspections and findings
- Liaising with other professionals and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project progress
- Identifying and rectifying any issues related to building control compliance
Job Requirements:
- Experience in building control with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards
- Proficiency in interpreting building codes and ensuring compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse workload efficiently
- Detail-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Relevant qualification or certification in building control or a related field
