Contract Sheet Metal Worker (Outside IR35)
Location: Isle of Wight - Easily commutable via Portsmouth Hovercraft to Ryde (approx. 40 mins + 1 bus) or Southampton Red Funnel to Cowes (approx. 90 mins + 2 buses)
Rate: £30 - £35 per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week | Flexible working available
Contract Length: 6 months (with potential for extension)

We are looking for a highly skilled Contract Sheet Metal Worker to support the manufacturing of precision components for the aerospace sector. This role demands a strong background in working with aluminium and the ability to maintain tight tolerances between 0.152 mm to 0.229 mm.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate sheet metal parts based on detailed engineering drawings.
Perform cutting, grinding, welding, and shaping of aluminium to precise specifications.
Ensure all work meets strict quality and tolerance standards.
Essential Requirements:
Proven background as a Sheet Metal Worker, ideally within aerospace or a similar precision-focused environment.
Expertise in working with aluminium.
Ability to achieve extremely fine tolerances (0.152 mm - 0.229 mm).
Skilled in interpreting and working from technical drawings.
