The Opportunity
We're seeking a Lead Process Engineer with deep technical expertise to join our growing team in Southern California. In this permanent position, you'll be responsible for end-to-end process design and technical leadership across a portfolio of cryogenic and LNG projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead process design for LNG and cryogenic systems across the full project lifecycle.
- Develop PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances, and process simulation models.
- Prepare process documentation: line lists, control philosophies, and design basis.
- Conduct design reviews, HAZOPs, and safety/risk assessments.
- Interface with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure technical alignment.
- Provide technical support for fabrication, FAT, and commissioning.
- Mentor junior process engineers and uphold design standards across projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 10-20 years of experience in cryogenic, LNG, or gas processing industries
- Expertise in Aspen HYSYS or equivalent simulation tools
- Familiar with codes and standards (ASME, API, NFPA, ISO, etc.)
- Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills
- S. work authorization required
Preferred Skills
- Background in modular skid systems and process equipment (pumps, vaporizers, heat exchangers)
- Experience working with EPCs or OEM manufacturing environments
- International project or client experience
