Our client, a prominent company within the civil construction sector, is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Southern Civils team. This permanent role is vital for supporting upcoming civils projects in the Buckinghamshire region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage valuations, budgets, and forecasts for civils contracts
- Monitor financial performance and commercial risks on projects
- Manage contract administration and payments in line with NEC and bespoke contract conditions
- Collaborate closely with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Support cost control and dispute resolution where necessary
Job Requirements:
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, specifically in civils works
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and bespoke contract management
- Proven track record in managing multiple projects and contracts efficiently
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Based near Milton Keynes, Buckingham or Winslow
