Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver small to medium traffic and parking schemes
- Assist Senior Engineers and Principal Engineers with project delivery
- Contribute to programmes including Low Traffic Neighbourhoods, bus and cycle improvements, greening schemes, School Streets, and parking improvements
- Utilise AutoCAD for designing traffic engineering solutions
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
- Provide technical advice and support to the team
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards and regulations
- Conduct site visits and assessments as required
Job Requirements:
- Experience working in traffic engineering, particularly in a local authority setting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for designing traffic schemes
- Strong understanding of traffic and parking schemes
- Solid knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Relevant engineering qualification
