Our client, a leading player in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer (Electronics) to join their dynamic team in Fife, Scotland. This is a full-time, permanent role within a highly respected global leader in Manufacturing and Defence projects.

Important: All applicants must be able to obtain Security Clearance *minimum 5 years UK residency*

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on the full test lifecycle and diagnostics process
  • Provide input to design authorities for successful DFM/DFT implementation
  • Support bid work as required
  • Engage in process improvement tasks
  • Mentor junior engineers early in their career
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electronics test and diagnostics, particularly in a high-reliability environment
  • Electronics qualification such as HND or degree
  • Experience working on defence or military products
  • Knowledge of high reliability electronics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Permanent UK residency with successful background checks for a baseline BPSS security check
