Our client BAE Systems, a leading organisation in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Senior Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional - Planning to join their team on a 12-month contract, based in Barrow with hybrid working arrangements. This role is within the Submarine Solutions business unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting plan health checks
- Engaging in forecasting activities
- Liaising with the Integrated Delivery team
- Implementing change requests
- Planning and attending various meetings
Job Requirements:
- Experience as a planner within the defence or a high-risk industry such as oil and gas or rail
- Proficiency in P6 software and Excel
- Strong data analysis skills
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Understanding of defence sector requirements, including ITAR and full SC clearance (UK Eyes only)
- Relevant qualifications and significant experience in using Primavera
About the Role:
This contract role is for a duration of 12 months initially. You will join a team of five people. The working pattern will include hybrid working, with an expectation of being onsite 1-2 days per month, specifically including every other Friday morning.
Security Clearance:
This position requires full SC clearance, UK Eyes only, and is subject to ITAR.
