Our client, a leading global aerospace engineering organisation, is seeking an experienced Internal Production Operations Scheduler to join their operations team in Burnley. This is a key role within the supply chain function, ensuring production schedules align with business demands and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Create and manage short-term production plans aligned with MPS and customer orders
Perform detailed capacity planning and resolve supply imbalances
Manage ERP data, process MRP outputs, and handle exceptions
Launch, sequence, and monitor internal production orders
Liaise with internal suppliers to manage changes and negotiate delivery schedules
Analyse supply chain performance metrics and drive corrective actions
Support implementation of technical changes and process improvements
Requirements
Strong understanding of MRP2 principles and production scheduling
Experience with ERP systems and supply chain tools
APICS BSCM preferred
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Proactive, organised, and resilient under pressure
