Quality & Compliance Engineer - Hybrid

Location: Bristol

Working Model: Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week

Security Clearance: Must be eligible for SC clearance

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Quality & Compliance Engineer with a strong background in regulated environments to join our growing team in Bristol. This is a non-product, process-focused role-ideal for someone who thrives on improving systems, driving compliance, and coordinating cross-functional quality efforts.

If you're someone who understands ISO 9001/9100, is confident navigating audits and management reviews, and enjoys refining business processes (not manufacturing!), we'd love to hear from you.

Your Core Responsibilities

  • Quality Management Systems (QMS):
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an Integrated Management System that supports business continuity and regulatory compliance.
  • Audit Leadership:
  • Conduct and manage internal and external audits, including coordination with certification bodies (e.g., BSI), and close out non-conformities.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Drive process improvement initiatives across departments using structured problem-solving tools. Publish and manage process documentation through SharePoint.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ISO 9001/9100 and other standards, ensuring the organisation adapts to changes and remains compliant.
  • Stakeholder Facilitation:
  • Work across teams to facilitate quality discussions, coordinate inputs, and support process ownership-without directly owning the processes.
  • Documentation & Policy Management:
  • Ensure high-quality, accessible documentation of company policies and processes across the fulfilment lifecycle.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in quality engineering within a regulated industry
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant standards
  • Solid experience with auditing, non-conformance management, and quality systems
  • Exceptional organisation and documentation skills
  • Ability to facilitate quality initiatives across diverse functions
  • A confident, people-oriented approach-comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels
  • Willingness to learn and apply multiple standards
  • Experience with SharePoint, or similar document control systems is a bonus

Why Join Us?

  • Hybrid working - balance your time between home and our Bristol office
  • Supportive, cross-functional team culture
  • One-stage, on-site interview process - meet the team from day one
  • Real impact - influence how quality and compliance are shaped across the business

Ready to take the lead on quality and compliance in a role that's more about systems than products? Apply now to join a team where your organisational drive and regulatory expertise will make a lasting difference.
