Our client, a leading construction company with activities spread across Ireland, the UK, and Northern Europe, is seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their high-performing team in Frankfurt. This role will be primarily involved in managing data centre projects, with phase three of an ongoing project commencing immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day commercial and contract activities
  • Undertake contract administration, including change management and maintenance of associated registers
  • Negotiate and secure best value subcontractor orders
  • Participate in managing project budgets, cost plans and feasibility studies
  • Validate and approve subcontractors' interim applications and final submissions
  • Lead pre-appointment subcontractor meetings to ensure scope clarity
  • Prepare accurate monthly Cost Value Reports for review
  • Maximise cash flow through the timely submission of Monthly Valuations
  • Negotiate, draft, and submit Final Accounts
  • Maintain a productive relationship with the Design team and Client representatives
  • Ensure full and proper implementation of Commercial procedures

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying & Construction Economics or an equivalent degree recognised by SCSI or RICS
  • Experience in quantity surveying
  • Understanding of various construction contracts (NEC, RIAI, FIDIC)
  • Ability to critically evaluate and identify gaps in documentation and commercial opportunities
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and systems
  • Commercial awareness - market, competition, value for money
  • Strong numeracy and report writing skills
  • Strong negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Attention to detail and process-oriented
