The Opportunity

We're looking for a proactive and experienced Process Engineer to help improve, optimise, and innovate manufacturing processes. This role will span both traditional automotive production and cutting-edge EV technologies, covering mechanical systems, automation, batch, and chemical processes.

You'll play a key role in scaling up production, introducing new equipment, and driving continuous improvement across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop, configure, and optimise manufacturing processes from concept through to certification

  • Analyse production data to identify and deliver improvement opportunities

  • Design, run, and upgrade mechanical, automated, and chemical/batch systems

  • Lead process development for specialist EV components

  • Commission new capital equipment and handover to production teams

  • Produce clear process documentation and work instructions

  • Use structured problem-solving methods (DMAIC, 5 Whys, Fishbone) to address efficiency and quality issues

  • Drive improvements in OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)

  • Maintain strong Health & Safety and 5S standards across operations

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Production, and Design Engineering

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent)

  • Proven process/production/industrial engineering experience in manufacturing

  • Strong background in mechanical systems, automation, and continuous improvement

  • Exposure to chemical handling and batch production (desirable)

  • Automotive industry experience (essential); EV or printed circuit manufacturing a plus

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality improvement tools

  • Skilled at interpreting technical drawings and process data

  • Hands-on, solutions-focused, and thrives under pressure

  • Strong communication skills and team mindset
