BAE Systems - Technical Administrator - 6 month contract - Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria - £17.35 ph UMB or £13.07 ph PAYE (Inside IR35)
The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e. the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs). BAE Systems are currently seeking a Technical Administrator to join their Submarine Solutions division on a contract basis. This role is based in Barrow-in-Furness and involves supporting various administrative functions within the business unit for a six-month period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Submarine Solutions team
- Managing and organising key documents and records
- Coordinating meetings and preparing necessary documentation
- Assisting with the preparation and distribution of reports
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data integrity
- Supporting the recruitment business partner with administrative tasks
- Ensuring compliance with internal processes and security protocols
- Handling correspondence and communication within the team
Job Requirements:
- Must be comfortable with working at height (at times to support taking notes for teams)
- Must be comfortable with going into confined spaces (at times to support taking notes for teams)
- Must be able to cope with repetitive tasks
- Must be organised
- Must be flexible to support teams in the organisation
- Must be capable of using Microsoft applications
Security Requirements: SC & UK EYES ONLY
This role will require the person to hold full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working onsite. You will need to obtain a BPSS check as part of this process. You must currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain SC and you must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship and have lived and worked in the UK for a minimum 5 year period.
