Our client, a reputable company specialising in infrastructure, is seeking a Senior Planner to join their team. This permanent role is based near Northampton, working on HS2.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Planning function to prioritise and coordinate construction and design activities
- Maintain delivery of the main Civils Works contract
- Build, optimise, and update project plans during project execution
- Assist on all scheduling related matters internally and externally with the client
- Undertake all planning activities and work to improve and optimise Construction Project Plans
- Collaborate closely with the area lead and subcontractors
Job Requirements:
- Experience using Primavera P6
- Experience in a similar position within a construction environment
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques
- Understanding of NEC3 contracts
- Excellent Excel skills
- Knowledge of the O365 package
- Recognised professional membership (e.g., ICE, APM, PMP)
- Hold a Full Driving License and have access to a vehicle
