Who We Are & What's on Offer
We're looking for a Skilled Pipe Fabricator (Landing Gear Systems) to join our high-performing team in Gloucester - helping build the complex pipework that keeps world-class landing gear systems moving.

If you've got hands-on experience in tube bending, pipe fabrication, and can work to the tightest tolerances - we want to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

As a Skilled Pipe Fabricator, you'll be using both conventional and CNC equipment to bend, fabricate, and test high-performance pipe assemblies.

This role is all about precision - every bend, weld, and swage matters. You'll also support the landing gear assembly line and help improve production processes across the board.

Your day-to-day:

  • Preparing jigs, tools, test equipment, and workstations
  • Operating CNC and manual machines for tube/pipe bending and swaging
  • Fabricating and assembling pipes to exact aerospace specs
  • Performing pressure tests, intermediate checks, and defect inspections
  • Following detailed technical drawings, work instructions, and test procedures
  • Supporting assembly line operations as needed
  • Driving continuous improvement in quality, cycle time, and safety

What you bring to the table:

You're a fabricator who knows how to bend it right the first time. You take pride in precision, safety, and top-notch workmanship - and you've got the skills to back it up.

Must-haves:

  • NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline or time-served apprenticeship
  • Proven experience in pipe fabrication and tube/pipe bending (manual and/or CNC)
  • Strong understanding of aerospace or mechanical engineering environments
  • Ability to follow technical drawings, work instructions, and test specs
  • Familiar with dimensional inspection and self-checking
  • Working knowledge of 5S, Lean, or Six Sigma principles
  • Awareness of Foreign Object Damage (FOD) risks and quality control standards

Nice to have:

  • CNC programming experience
  • Previous experience in aerospace, defence, or other high-precision sectors

Why join us?

  • Early Fridays: Four-and-a-half-day week - finish early every Friday
  • Generous leave: 25 days' holiday + UK bank holidays, with options to buy/sell
  • Extra rewards: Annual bonus & share scheme options
  • Peace of mind: Up to 8% matched pension + life assurance (4x salary)
  • Everyday perks: Free parking (EV chargers), subsidised canteen, showers & bike storage
  • Tailored benefits: Flexible options to suit your lifestyle
