Contract position Outside IR35
Hybrid working

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing detailed part and assembly drawings for mechanical parts and assemblies
  • Working within Solidworks PDM to support design processes
  • Collaborating with senior designers to receive feedback and update drawings accordingly
  • Ensuring all drawings meet inspection processes for mechanical parts and assemblies
  • Creating technical presentations, both written and verbal, to support design proposals
  • Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all design work
  • Meeting tight deadlines to ensure project milestones are achieved

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with Solidworks Drawing
  • Proficient in Solidworks PDM
  • Demonstrated ability in producing detailed part and assembly drawings
  • Understanding of inspection processes for mechanical parts and assemblies
  • Strong technical presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to incorporate feedback from senior designers and update drawings accordingly
  • Keen eye for detail and ability to work to stringent deadlines

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding of aircraft systems and aerospace processes
  • Experience working within an Engineering Change Order process
  • Knowledge of process control within production assembly lines
