The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior / Principal Electronics Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering business in the East Midlands. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge clean technology projects for the automotive market, with excellent career progression prospects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of analogue electronic circuits, from concept through to production.
Carry out schematic capture using Altium Designer (experience with other CAD/EDA tools also considered).
Support the full product lifecycle, including prototyping, validation, and design reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, reliable, and sustainable solutions for the automotive sector.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers where required.
Skills & Experience
Strong background in analogue circuit design (essential).
Proficient with Altium Designer (other CAD/EDA tools acceptable).
Experience in circuit analysis, simulation, and validation.
Knowledge of automotive standards / clean tech applications desirable.
Strong problem-solving ability and a hands-on approach.
