Key Responsibilities:

- Reviewing and implementing strategic cycle routes, School Streets, traffic signal works, and bus lanes.
- Working on measures to reduce traffic congestion and improve road safety.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful scheme delivery.
- Providing technical input and expertise in traffic and transport-related projects.
- Managing multiple projects and ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, statutory duties, and practices.
Job Requirements:
- Extensive experience in highways, traffic, and transport-related projects.
- Understanding of current planning, sustainability, and economic agendas influencing transport policy.
- Proven record of successfully delivering traffic and parking schemes.
- Strong knowledge of highways and transport legislation and statutory duties.
- Relevant professional qualification or significant experience in a similar role.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
