What Will I Be Doing?
As a Quality Inspector, you'll ensure all parts and assemblies meet engineering and quality standards, supporting production and business functions through expert inspection and compliance.
Your key responsibilities:
* Inspect incoming goods, parts, and assemblies to verify compliance with engineering drawings and business processes
* Conduct documentation checks (CofCs, Purchase Orders, etc.) and raise non-conformance reports (NCRs) where required
* Support production and quality teams by detecting, resolving, and preventing non-conformities
* Perform product inspection, measurement, and calibration activities to maintain consistent standards
* Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve technical queries and support Supplier Quality and Quality Engineering teams
* Ensure adherence to all health and safety obligations
What Do I Need to Succeed?
You're a hands-on quality professional with a sharp eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Skills & Competencies:
* Proven background in quality control, inspection, and non-conformance management
* Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
* Knowledge of PT21 processes and proactive quality techniques (preferred)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CMM operation (training preferred)
* Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work independently when needed
* Data-driven, dependable, and committed to doing the right thing
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in an inspection or quality environment
* Recognised CMM operator training and/or metrology experience (preferred)
* Demonstrated use of preventive and corrective quality techniques
