Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the construction of highways, inclusing earthworks and some structures
- Ensuring that work is carried out to the client's specifications and standards
- Monitoring contractor performance, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality requirements
- Reporting regularly to the DSR
- Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise during construction
- Liaising with various stakeholders, including contractors and local authorities
Job Requirements:
- Experience in highway construction and maintenance
- Strong understanding of structural & highways engineering principles
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and solve problems effectively
- Proficiency in conducting site inspections and audits
- Strong communication skills for effective reporting and stakeholder liaison
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards
Contract Details:
- 2 year contract
- Start date: Mid to late October
- Location: Perth, Scotland
- Outside IR35
- 40 hours per week
