This is a permanent role focussed on delivering Mission Planning & Control products for FC/ASW TP15 - a highly complex and critical weapon system providing both future cruise and anti-ship capabilities for UK and international partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generation of all architectural artefacts within the boundary of TP15 Mission Planning & Control
  • Guiding other architects within the team to ensure quality output
  • Striving to maximise modularity and re-use across multiple product offerings
  • Supporting and influencing the design process
  • Collaborating with other first-line reports to achieve team objectives on time, to cost, and quality
  • Autonomously leading work packages across small to medium-sized teams

Job Requirements:

  • Strong background in complex systems architecture, including experience with MBSE
  • Understanding of key architectural principles in a product line environment
  • Effective communication skills to build and nurture relationships
  • Ability to influence and lead multi-skilled teams efficiently
  • Proficiency with Rhapsody and SysML
  • Experience with IBM Engineering Workflow Management
  • Familiarity with DOORS Next Generation
  • Ability to learn rapidly and solve complex problems
