Our client, a reputable consultancy in the surveying sector, is seeking an experienced Utility Surveyor to join their team based in Essex. Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive site surveys using advanced tools and techniques such as Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and radio detection
- Processing survey data utilising software like AutoCAD and N4CE
- Collaborating with a team of 3-4 underground services surveyors to ensure accurate and efficient survey results
- Maintaining and operating survey vans and equipment
- Travelling to various locations within the South East, including London, Essex, and occasionally Kent and Brighton
Job Requirements:
- Experience in utility surveying with intermediate level expertise (2-3 years preferred)
- Minimum Level 3 QCF qualification in a relevant field
- Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD for processing survey data
- Strong understanding of GPR and radio detection technologies
- Ability to teach and mentor team members effectively
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Close attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to travel as required
