Key Responsibilities:
- Leading civil and structural (C&S) design practices and installation requirements in the nuclear industry
- Applying risk identification, quantification, and management strategies while ensuring Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance
- Overseeing C&S elements of pumped systems, such as fire and potable water
- Conducting optioneering assessments on new and historic structures
- Leading small teams and providing support to junior engineers
- Ensuring adherence to Urenco standards and processes
- Managing projects and requirements effectively
- Utilising knowledge of common contract forms to support project delivery
Job Requirements:
- Experience in structural and civil engineering within the nuclear industry
- Good knowledge of design working practices in the sector
- Strong understanding of HSE requirements
- Familiarity with Urenco standards and processes
- Experience with new and historic structures
- Proven ability to lead small teams
- Project Management and Requirements Management experience
- Minimum BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Chartership or near chartership with ICE or IStructE
- CSCS or CCNSG certification
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance
