Our client, a prominent player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an Assembly Technician II for a contract role within their Maritime Services business unit. This position is critical to ensuring the seamless assembly of advanced technology components at the Broad Oak site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembling complex components and systems according to technical drawings and specifications
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure all assembled products meet stringent defence standards
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to resolve any assembly issues promptly
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area to support safety and efficiency
  • Documenting assembly procedures and results accurately for future reference
  • Following all company and industry safety regulations diligently

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in mechanical or electronic assembly within a high-tech or defence environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Proven problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting
  • Basic knowledge of industry safety standards and procedures
  • Will need BPSS + SC in flight security clearance
