Our client, a prominent player in the Aerospace MRO sector, is looking to recruit a skilled B1.3 Licensed Engineer with expertise in A109 / H145 helicopters. The position is based at Boscombe Down, offering a permanent role within a well-established company known for maintaining Leonardo aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide and communicate regular engineering reports to the Head of Maintenance/ Head of Department
- Certify work within the scope of company authorisations
- Carry out both line and base maintenance at any of the client's facilities, and also off-site upon customer demand
- Undertake all tasks related to aircraft maintenance
- Work with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the business
- Closely supervise other engineering and support staff as required
- Ensure compliance with industry requirements and authorities (such as CAA, EASA, etc.)
- Comply with all Continuing Professional Development requirements relevant to company policies and reporting authority
- Effective management of all maintenance within your control
- Proficiency in Microsoft-based systems
Job Requirements:
- Current UK CAA Part 66 Licence with type ratings in Airbus EC145 / H145, and/or Leonardo A109
- Experience in rotary aircraft maintenance
- Understanding of CAA regulatory requirements
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Ability to supervise and mentor other staff members
- Proven eligibility to work and live in the UK
- Capability to obtain and maintain security clearance
