An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a growing infrastructure team based in Witney. The role offers the chance to lead technical delivery on a variety of civil engineering projects, support team development, and contribute to the continued success of a 12-person civils office.
Role Overview:
You will lead the design and delivery of highways, drainage, and utilities projects for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The position involves managing Section 38 and 104 agreements, producing detailed designs, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver civil engineering designs including roads, drainage, and earthworks.
Prepare and manage S38 and S104 submissions.
Develop drainage strategies using InfoDrainage, Flow, or MicroDrainage.
Liaise with clients, authorities, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Provide technical guidance, quality assurance, and team leadership.
Contribute to project planning, resource management, and fee proposals.
Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Chartered or working toward ICE, CIWEM, or equivalent status.
Proven experience in civil infrastructure and adoption processes.
Proficiency in drainage design software and UK design standards.
Strong communication and mentoring skills.
