BAE - Submarine Solutions (SS), a leading player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Technical Coordinator for a 12-month contract role based in Barrow, with hybrid working options available. This position requires a blend of technical and administrative skills to support the organisation's submarine solutions operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing technical and administrative support to the project team
- Coordinating technical documentation and ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Assisting in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other technical materials
- Maintaining and updating project schedules and tracking progress
- Ensuring compliance with security requirements, including BPSS and SC
- Supporting the team with ITAR and UK Eyes Only restricted tasks
- Performing other tasks as required to support the smooth operation of the project
Job Requirements:
- Experience in a technical coordination or administrative support role
- Understanding of the Defence & Security sector
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Security clearance: BPSS + SC
