Our client, a significant player in the water sector, is seeking a skilled MEICA Project Engineer to manage the end-to-end delivery of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation projects. This role is offered on a contract basis and sits outside IR35, providing an attractive opportunity for long-term engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the full lifecycle of MEICA projects from conception to completion
  • Managing the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Ensuring compliance with water industry standards and regulations
  • Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress and performance
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks
  • Providing technical expertise and troubleshooting support

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering MEICA projects, particularly within the water sector
  • Strong background in electrical engineering
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Engineering degree or relevant qualification
