Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join their team in Cowes. This is a contract position with hybrid working arrangements, requiring four days per week on site. The role involves working on critical projects within a secure environment, ensuring the highest standards of engineering excellence and security compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the electrical engineering efforts within the Maritime Services division
- Developing, implementing, and overseeing electrical engineering projects
- Ensuring all projects adhere to industry standards and security protocols
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
- Conducting detailed analysis and troubleshooting of electrical systems
- Preparing and presenting reports on project progress and status
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and regulations
