Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and managing bridge projects from inception through to completion
- Ensuring compliance with national standards and Eurocodes
- Overseeing the preparation and presentation of reports, proposals, and engineering solutions
- Collaborating with a dynamic team to deliver successful bridge projects
- Conducting site inspections and assessments
- Mentoring junior engineers and providing professional guidance
- Contributing to multidisciplinary projects, particularly in stadiums and building design
- Upholding the organisation's values and promoting a collaborative and innovative working environment
Job Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Chartered Engineer status with the ICE or ISTRUCTE, or significant progress towards Chartered Status
- Extensive experience in bridge design, with a strong focus on highways
- In-depth knowledge of national standards and Eurocodes
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Experience in stadiums and building design/construction is advantageous
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools
