Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer
Location: Shrewsbury
Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday-Friday (flexible working available)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
An excellent opportunity with my client has arisen for a Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering infrastructure and development projects across the UK.
The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects from feasibility to construction, including highways, drainage, SuDS, flood risk management, and transport planning.
About the Role:
Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of infrastructure schemes.
Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and design documentation.
Undertake site assessments and coordinate with relevant authorities.
Manage workloads, deadlines, and client communication with minimal supervision.
Support and mentor junior team members as required.
Key Skills & Experience:
HNC/HND or Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
Experience with MicroDrainage, Civils 3D, and AutoCAD.
Knowledge of S38, S104, and S278 agreements.
Understanding of SuDS, drainage design, and flood risk assessments.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Full UK driving licence required.
Desirable:
Experience preparing Transport Statements.
Working knowledge of CDM 2015.
Progression toward IEng or CEng qualification encouraged and supported.
