Our client BAE Systems, a leading entity within the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Project Manager Delivery to join their Submarine Solutions team in Barrow. This is a contract position for an initial duration of 6 months with the potential for a temporary to permanent move. Please note, this role requires on-site working with no hybrid arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive reports for various departments within the business
- Ensuring effective governance and compliance with company standards
- Facilitating upward and outward communication and reporting
- Responding to ad hoc data queries, specifically related to SHE data
- Driving improvements in the quality and efficiency of reporting processes
- Managing and leading team members
- Focus on people management to support team performance and development
Job Requirements:
- Experience in project management within any industry; specific submarines experience is not necessary
- Competence with MS Office; additional training for specific tools will be provided
- Strong team management and leadership skills
- Excellent organisational abilities and familiarity with working to deadlines
- Understanding of governance and compliance protocols
- Ability to respond promptly and accurately to data queries
- Security Clearance (SC) is required for this role
