Senior Designer - Hull & Outfit - 12 month contract - Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria - (Local Rates) £30.12ph UMB or £22.12 ph PAYE (Non-Local Rates) £37.36 per hour UMB or £29.63 per hour PAYE (Inside IR35)
The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e. the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs). Please note, the rate paid by the Umbrella will be less, as will a Limited Deemed rate or Agency PAYE rate. Please get in touch to discuss the rates via these different payment vehicles.
The Role
Applies understanding of a range of design processes, tools, systems and techniques, and applies these to design or detail for assemblies, components or systems. Designs and develops solutions to common or well-articulated design situations, problems and issues.
Requires understanding of design principles and approaches relevant to design activities plus a depth of understanding, knowledge and experience relevant to a specialist area of activity, for example relevant to a department, unit, system, platform, etc.
What are BAE Systems looking for from you?
This role requires you to have experience working with Siemens NX.
Experience working as a CAD Draughtsperson.
Security Requirements: SC, ITAR & UK EYES ONLY
This role will require the person to hold full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working onsite. You will need to obtain a BPSS check as part of this process. You must currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain SC. In addition, this role involves direct and/or indirect access to ITAR Material which means there are restriction.
