Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate seamlessly with engineering and project teams to deliver outstanding results.
- Serve as a key liaison between engineers and other departments to drive progress on tasks and actions.
- Engage in various engineering tasks under the guidance of senior engineers, such as:
- Writing Method Statements
- Writing Test Specifications
- Implementing Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)
- Change Management
- Updating Drawings
- Occasional Site Work
- Participate in internal and external meetings, contributing insights to the business.
- Maintain organised documentation, adhering to local operating procedures.
Job Requirements:
Essential: - Level 3 Engineering qualification or completion of an engineering apprenticeship (electrical or mechanical).
- Strong communication skills to liaise confidently across business functions.
- Team player mentality in a collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Flexible and adaptable engineering approach to problem-solving.
- Accurate, diligent, and methodical approach to work.
- Ability to plan and organise work following higher-level direction.
- Effective communication skills at all business levels, including with suppliers and customers.
- Desire to learn and support the business while advancing personal development.
Desirable: - Knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering principles to foster innovation.
- Experience in supporting the design, assembly, test, and delivery of complex Defence systems.
- Proficiency with design tools such as SolidWorks (mechanical) or electrical design software.
