BAE - Maritime Naval Ships (MNS) is seeking a skilled Occupational Health Nurse to join their team on a contract basis. This role is integral to the Maritime Services business unit and will be based on-site at HMNBP, ensuring the wellbeing of the workforce in a dynamic naval environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering comprehensive occupational health services to all employees.
  • Conducting health surveillance and assessments in line with company policies.
  • Providing advice on workplace health issues and promoting healthy practices.
  • Administering first aid and managing medical emergencies when necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate health records and managing confidential information.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and referring employees as required.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of health and wellbeing programmes.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in occupational health nursing or a related field.
  • Proficiency in conducting health assessments and health surveillance activities.
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle medical emergencies and provide immediate care.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
  • Registered Nurse qualification.
