We're supporting a leading delivery partner on a major infrastructure programme in the Southwest - one of the UK's most complex and high-profile projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Agent to take a key role in the safe and successful delivery of large-scale site works.
You'll provide site leadership, manage subcontractor performance, and ensure that quality, safety, and compliance are embedded throughout all stages of construction.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead site delivery, driving a positive safety and quality culture.

  • Coordinate subcontractors and chair regular progress meetings.

  • Liaise with project teams and stakeholders to enable delivery.

  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities across site activities.

  • Review technical drawings and documentation, raising queries where required.

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and permit-to-work systems.

  • Manage scheduling, reporting, and project documentation through to handover.

Experience & Skills


Essential:


  • 5+ years' site experience, ideally as an Agent or Senior Engineer on complex infrastructure projects.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office.


Desirable:


  • Experience with BIM/digital tools (Autodesk, Bentley).

  • Knowledge of scheduling software (Aphex, P6).

  • Familiarity with Behavioural Safety practices.

Qualifications


Essential:


  • HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).

  • Valid CSCS card.


Desirable:


  • Chartered status (ICE or equivalent).

  • Project Management training (APM, PRINCE2).

  • Nuclear sector training (Triple Bar).

  • SMSTS / IOSH / Temporary Works Coordinator.
